But this too shall pass.
On friday late afternoon i found out that i got a new job! I had applied for 3 different jobs within Örebro kommun. All of them were at nursing homes for elderly, but the third one wasen?t a regular RN position. I would have worked with improving the quality of care at that particular nursing home. This is really something i would like to do one day, but since i don?t know anything about Örebro kommun yet, i decided to start as a regular RN. I decided to go with Adolfsbergshemmet nursing home as they were open for part time work which i really need with 3 kids. We also found a place to rent in July so we won?t be homeless afterall he he. We will be living in a 3-room apartment somewhere in the middle of Örebro city. The twins have been enrolled to a pre-school 700 meters from the new house and we just sent in an application for Mia to attend 2nd grade in the same building where the twins pre-school will be. So yeah, everything is slowly getting in place and i am so greatful. Tomorrow i will start working again after 2 weeks break. I will be working basically untill the very last day before we have to move he he. The whole July and half of August will be vacation/moving/setteling in time and on the 16th of August i will start working at the new place. A lot to look forward to!
Yesterday my husband turned 22, i mean 44 years old! When i picked up the twins from daycare the teacher told me that Ludwig and Sofia have made presents for their dad, but they weren?t sure if he turned 14 or 40. I replied well if he is 14 then i would be in big trouble and we had a good laugh about it. But yeah, he is 44 years old now! That?s crazy How time goes fast. We also become a couple on his 26th Birthday exctly 16 years ago! And two years later we got engaged on his Birthday too. I wonder if he wanted to make it easy for himself so he would never forget those important dates he he. Anyways, because of Covid19 we celebrated him only with the closest family but hoping to do a little party for him during the Summer. Happy Birthday honey and wishing you many more years, health and happiness.
16 years as a couple. This picture was taken in Portugal while visiting my good friend Karen. Can?t remember the year, but it was pre-kids ha ha. Yes, my life is now divided in two - pre-kids and post-kids.
The Swedish goverment requires Swedish residence and cityzens who have travelled abroad to self-isolate for a week after the trip and get tested for covid-19 on Day 5. So here I am, sittning at home and avoiding human contact with people that are not my immidiate family. Then again, i do have a contact with my kids and husband and they go to school/shop fot food so this doesn?t work 100%. Anyways, i try to be effective so i keep packing moving boxes since i came home and plan to pack as much as i can during my self-isolation. I want to preparat as much as possible during this coming week because i won?t have the same energy when i go back to work. Since there will be a one month gap between moving houses we have to have our stuff at a storage somewhere in Örebro. That?s quite annoying, but still better than with some other houses we looked at where we couldn?t move in before october. I am also trying to make plans for July because we have to be somewhere between July and August. The month we are homeless he he. I am thinking of taking the kids to Estonia, but since R has to work i would be on my own and i go nuts if i won?t be able to sleep properly, but this just might work out perfectly. I hope the covid restrictions will be much milder in July so we could have like a real vacation in Estonia. My plan is to stay where my mom and grandmother lives. A little industrial town with a great potential called Kunda. The population is around 3000 inhabitants and only in tiny Estonia you can call it a town and not a village. Just 2 km away from my moms place there is a lovely beach where we could spend some lazy days. I mentioned that Kunda is a town with a great potential as there is still a long way to go. As with many other small towns in Estonia there are a lot of abandoned buildings and many houses need some money, love and paint. While visiting my mom
and grandmother this past week I saw a lot of positive changes during my visit. The town looked much more well taken care of with roads being fixed and parks been cleaned up. This is definately not Pärnu but with right leadership and money Kunda could become a real sea-side pearl.
The beach at Kunda.
Couldn?t find a better picture but this is the view over Kunda.
Our New place has a big balcony. Can?t wait to make it all cozy and nice.
