Mia had an early Birthday celebration this past Sunday. I wanted to make sure that she will have a little party before the twins arrive and i'd rather wanted to have the party too early than too close to my due date. I assume that it went well because Mia told me that she loves me like five times during the party ha ha. I loved her reaction when her friends, one by one, started to arrive: "What, is Ayda here??? Can it really be true!?" and so was her reaction to every single guest. She got many cute presents, but her favorite was the Elsa outfit from Frozen. Oh my, she was feeling and acting like a little princess in it. Sincere little girl happiness. My heart melted. After the party was done, my energy just vanished. Since Monday I have been a real couch potato. I try to do my daily "chores" and keep the house tidy, but soon I think I won't be able to do that either because my belly is so-so heavy. Sleeping is harder than ever and now even my husband tells me that it is impossible to sleep in the same bed with me! I don't blame him. I mean who can sleep next to someone who goes to the toilet 1-3 times per night, tosses and turns in the bed and keeps messing with all the thousand pillows that should give her poor body some support. On top of that someone occasionally sits up and massage her aching back or takes medicin against heartburn. Maybe open and close the bedroom window because it get so hot!Eat a banana because she gets so hungry or drinks water.... So yeah, I don't blame him cause it's like sleeping next to a busy beaver. I wouldn't share a bed with myself either right now. This Friday I am going for another midwife appointment and next week it's time for the ultrasound to see how our little ones are growing. I have made it all the way to week 32 that starts today. That's fantastic, but I am very much longing for this "suffering for a good cause" to end. Other twin moms know what I mean ;).

Mia is very fond of Frozen. She insists that her little sister will be called Elsa. She will be dissapointed...

It was hard to do all the preparations for her Birthday, but seeing her smile and happy made everything worth it!

Now the couch is my best friend :)
