Our trip to Florida went mostly smoothly, except when it was time to fly from Newark to Orlando with United Airlines. I don't know if it is bad luck, but every time I fly with them there are problems. This time it was delay (4 hours) and then they had put to much fuel in the aircraft which made it too heavy to land in Orlando. So the solution was that we had to fly on a much lower altitude than usually to burn more fuel so that the aircraft could safely land in Orlando. So instead at arriving at the hotel around 10 P.M we arrived past midnight. It wasen't only bad because we instantly came in to the "time zone". We all slept the whole night and woke up around 7ish in the morning. I was a bit tired around 9, but other than that the transission went very smoothly. It was quite difficult to be awake 24 hours straight (specially when pregnant with twins) but I tried to focuse on our goal- sunshine and rest. I was worried about taking such a long flight while pregnant, but it wasen't as bad as I thought and I happy that I took the chanse.Today we have so far done some shopping at the outlet mall. I bought new sunglasses from Michael Kors and som maternity clothes. After that me and Mia hit the pool area. Since it is January, the weather won't be as fantastic as today all the time so I am taking the most of it and writing this blog sunbathing by the pool. The weekend will be with very low temperatures but then it will be over 20 C again. I don't care as long as it is not snowing and it's warm enough.
