Mia is sleeping next to me after another fun day in Estonia. It took me a while to get her to sleep after all the playing and fun with her cousins. She has been such a good girl during the whole trip. It's the first time since I started travelling with her that everything has gone really smoothly (she was four months old when I travelled to Estonia with her for the first time ). The most important thing is that she has slept well and that means that I feel rested too. What a difference from last time, just few months ago, when we were here and she slept horribly and I felt like a living dead. She has also been eating well and has tried different Estonian dishes and really liked most of them. It makes me happy when I see her enjoying Estonian food, it's a pure joy. I can picture us in the future sitting in our kitchen in Sweden and talking of all the great Estonian dishes we want to eat when we go back to visit. And of all the places and people we want to visit... I hope I will pass on the love I have for my birth country to her and she too want's to go to Estonia as often as possible. Sweden is a great country to live in and has many advantages compare to Estonia. Then again Estonia is where I was born and raised and despite that not everything was good there, I will always have strong feelings for this country. My heart is divided between Sweden and Estonia and I will never be only Estonian or only Swedish.I am something in between, always longing for the people and the country I am currently not at. I guess it's a feeling only those understand who themselves have two or more home countries....Good night from my first home, Estonia!
This means so much to me that my daughter gets to see my grandmothers garden in Estonia. So unreal and so wonderful :).
