Mia started walking yesterday evening, 11 months and 13 days old. She had taken about 2 steps several times before, but yesterday evening she somehow cracked the code of walking and took about 9-10 steps in a row! She walked from mommy to daddy many times and was so pleased with all the attention and applauds she got from us. As a mother I got goosepumps all over my body of sheer happiness. It is after all a big milestone in a babys development. The not so cool side to this walking thing is that she will have a lot more falls now, but like they say -no pain no gain! She will be running around in no time ;). Have a fantastic weekend everyone! I am on my way to work again but after that I have 3 free days to look forward to.

My little darling grows up so fast.... Here she has just been eating her lunch ;).
