Mia has been picky with food the last two months or so. It might be because she is still breastfeeding and gets her calories from there, but I am not sure. So this past week I decided that now it's time for her to start to learn how to feed herself (my mom told me that by the time my brother was 1 year old he walked, went to potty and ate himself! Yaiks! We are way behind ha ha. But in those days children had to be taught these things early so that they would be accepted to the nursery).Anyways, I can already see that Mia is getting a totally new intrest for food now that I allow her to put in her mouth herself. It takes forever for her to eat and she gets really messy, but it is actually really fun to look at.She doesn't eat EVERYTHING by herself yet, but she gets to pick boiled veggies and eat the fruit dessert herself ( with the spoon). The next step is that she can try eating "the main course" by herself too. My little baby is getting big! Time goes so fast and I try to enjoy every moment. Now I am off to work again. Off to work again. This is one patients morning pills and the sad thing is that this is not unusual, specially for the elderly. Hope that you and I will never get that sick that we have to stuff ourselves with all those chemicals.
