So yesterday I finally tried the Dunkin Donuts at Täby C. I think it is the only one in whole Sweden. It has been open for a month or so now and who ever came up with the idea to bring DD to Täby C can laugh all the way to the bank. I mean there was this nonestop long que outside the DD all the time. If I have understood right, there has been a que infront of DD ever since they opened. Not only that, there were people sleeping infront of the DD when they were about to open for the first timejust to be first in line (and get free coffe for a year) .Crazy, huh!? So in I went, or actually no, the que went few meters outside the DD, and the wait for my first ever donut at DD in Sweden started. I bought a Turkeybreast bagle, latte and three different donuts. To my suprise, I even found a free table. Just as I was about to document my first visit to DD with my phone camera it decided that it was time to charge the batteries. Great! Now I had nothing else to do than just eat my food and look at the people around me. And during my 15-20 minutes at DD there was a huge flow of people in and out all the time. The atmosphere at DD itself is not that cozy or super trendy, but the food compensates for that. The bagel that I ordered was really good and I enjoyed every bite. Everything about it was just perfect. The coffee was not fantastic but not too bad either. And the donuts - I bought one with caramel glaze, one with maple syrap glaze and one with cookies and cream glaze. The plan was to eat only one and take the rest home, but that didn't really work out that way ( if my husband is reading this he has most probably just fell out of his chair and is looking for support groups for sugaraddicted people :) ). Anyways, I loved them all, but I wished they had more defined taste. I mean I felt the taste of maple syrap and caramel but not as strongly as I would have wanted to. But a donut is a donut so you either love the concept of it or you not. Unfortunately I love it Luckily me and my husband will be going on a sugar free diet starting tomorrow and that means that the only thing I can get at DD is bagels and warm sugarless drinks. One thing is for sure - it will be much harder to visit Täby C now without gaining weight. Darn you for being so good Dunkin Donuts! :P
