Me and Mia are very slowly recovering from our cold. We hope to be feeling well by Sunday because we will be celebrating Mias birthday with our Swedish family and friends. When we celebrated Mia with my Estonian friends, I made salmon soup and bor?. I baked minipizzas and vanilla rolls and I baked two chocolate cakes. Oh and of course potatochips and grapes and such were also served. As usually I had made way too much food. I think I ate bor? like 3-4 days in a row after the party ha ha. R. prefered the salmon soup. Oh well, thats me.Then again i'd rather cook too much than too little. It's good to be on the safe side ;). This time around we will be serving pastasallad and different cakes. It will be tricky though because we will be having guests with different foodallergies and diets. So that you would get an idea: most of the guests are vegetarians, one is glutenintolerant, three don't eat any milkproducts, one doesn't eat sugar and two are Weight Watchers. Luckily I am getting some help from my kind mother-in-law. She has made some glutenfree nutcakes and has baked normal, milkfree ang glutenfree sweet rolls. I am baking one " normal" chocolate cake, one sugar and milkfree carrotcake and one gluten and milkfree polentacake with coconutwhip. For preventing us from getting a sugar rush only we will be also having a pastasallad with tofu.... Our glutenintolerant friend is having his made with glutenfree pasta...I hope I haven't missed more allergies that our guests might have ;). It's going to be fun!
